Plant-Derived Smoke Solutions as a Strategy to Alleviate ODAP Toxicity in Hydroponic Grass Pea

This study was performed to investigate how smoke solution affects dry matter loss, crude protein (CP) and toxic compound ODAP contents of grass pea in hydroponic media during seven days period. Three doses solutions (1, 5 10%, V: V) by diluting with tap water were applied seeds as priming agent, used a control (0%). The experiment arranged according the split-plot design three replications. Compared seed, significant change detected sprouts depending on day terms loss chemical content. Grass had higher CP lower content than even treatment. Furthermore, increased efficiency system increase CP, decrease also decreases effect doses. highest 6 (36.27%) at 10% dose followed 5% 7 (36.09%). decreased up then began increase, but it all experiment. showed that is suitable crop for forage produce can make contribution yield quality sprouts, especially 10%. However, when yield, nutritional value, safe use evaluated together, observed best time harvesting end 6th delaying did not provide advantage occurred undesirable results matter.
